What if college juniors and seniors in our Wisconsin communities could discover their “best fit” vocational track as they serve locally as interns? “The Pillars Program”, designed by His House Christian Fellowship, provides an opportunity to do just that. The truth is that many interns don’t feel they receive the type of “real work” experience in a way that facilitates their faith formation in the process.

His House is the recipient of a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment and is developing a vocational program in 2016, launching a pilot program by the Spring semester of 2017, and introducing the full program with up to five eligible students, per campus by the Fall of 2017. The students will be vetted juniors and seniors, chosen from campuses where His House has a presence. Currently, that includes the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Lawrence University-Appleton, and Ripon College.
